The Royal Journey Thus Far...

Hello, everyone! Sorry, I've been away for such a long time but, trust me, I have not skirted my royal duties. As well as my other responsibilities. Professionally, as the Content Marketing Manager for the local orchestra, I was responsible for helping launch a $100,000 challenge in addition to creating and/or sharing content. I've also dealt with my personal life, which, though safe from harm, doesn't mean my heart is impenetrable. Let's just say it's been a difficult couple of weeks and months. And, too, many nights of tears.

But there have been terrific strides made. And, for that, I celebrate wholeheartedly. I became the first out transwoman to perform at the local baseball game. I've organized the second edition of our drag queen calendar fundraiser. All while keeping my sanity. Well, mostly.

I look forward to sharing with you my journey. As a daughter. A sister. A friend. A lover. A queen. But if these few months have taught me anything, is that I've carved out a path that is far different than most. And while there will be obstacles along the way, the rewards are more fruitful to bear.

So I press on with my journey - my way, and by my rules.
