Princess to be Honored at Event
The Princess Regnant will be honored with an award at tomorrow’s Black Trans* Brunch in Rochester, New York.
The brunch is part of Rochester Black Pride, a festival that works to create an “all-inclusive Black atmosphere to celebrate, empower & inspire the Black Queer/LGBT community in Rochester.” The Black Trans* brunch, in its second year, is an event to network and empower black transgendered women and men.
Princess Marie-Adélina I, 32, a transwoman, gave an inspiring and empowering opening speech at the inaugural brunch in 2017. Two months later, she gave her Crown Assent to the Trans Violence & Employment Protection Act, guaranteeing protections and prohibiting any discrimination against transgender and gender non-conforming individuals.
The Royal Court has confirmed Her Serene and Royal Highness will be accompanied by Her Highness The Duchess de Bainnet.
