International Women's Day in Legialle
International Women's Day, celebrated on the 8th of March, commemorates the sociocultural and political achievements of women.
Her Serene & Royal Highness took to social media earlier this morning to celebrate this day. Using a collage of various women of color, including trans activists Janet Mock and Munroe Bergdorf, Princess Marie-Adélina wrote of her foremothers who were "objectified, subjugated, and brutalized," but nevertheless defied the odds. "Their blood runs through my veins."
A motion was made this afternoon during a session of Crown Council, where a proposal was made to allocate funds for future activities. Though a vote has yet to take place, the Council is nevertheless committed to the achievements of women both at home and abroad.
